Job Summary
The Design Executive/Coordinator reports to the Senior Project Manager and is responsible for creating, interfacing and facilitating design drawings throughout projects' life cycles based on contract drawings and latest information as well as facilitate the flow of information between the design team and project team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, manage and facilitate design drawings using BIM and CAD technologies for building construction
- Take charge of all coordination works of structural and architectural interface with main contractor(s) and other trades for cross-team support
- Ensure all models are compatible and BIM data are made available to all project participants
- Collaborate within design team and other relevant departments to ensure all drawings are in order as per design requirements
- Manage design changes and revisions, resolve discrepancies and queries between design and project teams
- Attend site meetings as required
- Any other tasks as may be assigned from time to time
Job Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Architectural/Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent
- 4 to 5 years of related work experience in similar capacity for construction and architecture projects
- Proficient in MS Office, Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD software
- Knowledge of DGN, DWF, IFC and MicroStation
- Knowledge of native formats of BIM authoring or BIM related applications for design reviews
- Fluent in English with good interpersonal skills
- Strong project management and decision-making skills
