Job Description:
· manage the company’s financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable
· analyse financial data, identify trends and provide insights as well as improve financial performance
· provide timely and accurate financial reports to the management on the business performance
· assist in the creation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts
· ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards and internal controls processes
· liaise with external auditors, tax advisors and corporate secretary to ensure timely issuance of financial statement, corporate tax filing and other statutory filing
· prepare and submit quarterly GST return
· maintain filing and record keeping of manual and electronic documents which should be kept up-to-date to support audit and tax-related inquiries
· responsible in the improvement of the current accounting system and implementation of any new software to streamline work processes
· review work performed by junior staff
· provide administrative and HR support
· perform any other ad-hoc duties that may be assigned from time to time
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor Degree in Accountancy/Finance, ACCA or it's equivalent
· At least 3 years relevant experience in handling full sets of accounts and financial reporting
· Good interpersonal and communicate skills (oral and written)
· Excels in a flexible and fast-moving environment involving multiple stakeholders
· Strong analytical mind and a problem-solver
· Good sense of responsibility and attentive to details
· Strong computer literacy and experience with the Accounting Software
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team
