As the Site Materials Lead, you will coordinate and expedite the flow of materials (from suppliers and also from the direct OEM) according to production schedules. Plan and schedule material/production needs. Participates in discussions about the future of the assigned project requiring frequent and thorough interaction with other job functions. Develop the plan for materials supply and continuity on the basis of the framework of the strategic plan for the whole unit as designated by the project and site managers.
Job Responsibilites:
• Managing master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production
schedules and purchasing needs.
• Optimize inventory and process improvements.
• Conducting frequent interactions on a strategic level due to complex planning activities with
high degrees of professionalism and communication.
• Handling complex shifts in schedule ensuring that the project remains on time-critical path
and identifying and resolving constraints. Variety due to customization to client needs.
• Ensuring operational alignment with production plan and KPIs and optimizing inventory and
process improvements.
• Redefining processes and procedures on a regular basis and requiring frequent interaction
with adjacent functions (e.g. engineering, planning, maintenance).
• Managing the interaction with warehouse activities and monitor the process for receiving, issuing, and shipping to customer.
• Managing all of the Material Transactions in Oracle.
• Perform inspection of the equipment, parts etc.
• Keep in good order all Quality documentation (SQCL’s)
• Compliance with eTools and EHS mandates as required.
• Punch list clearance monitoring
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. Minimum of 5 additional years of
experience in Materials Planning and Execution.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
• Ability to document, plan, communicate, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
