Job Title: Centre Principal
Location: West Region
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the preschool, ensuring alignment with the school's mission, vision, and values.
- Oversee daily operations, including curriculum implementation, staff management, and facility maintenance.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of teachers and administrative staff to achieve educational goals and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including those set by the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) and other relevant authorities.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth functioning of the preschool.
- Oversee the planning, development, and implementation of age-appropriate curricula and educational programs that meet the developmental needs of children.
- Manage staff schedules, attendance, and leave applications to ensure optimal coverage and support.
- Manage the preschool's budget, including monitoring expenses, preparing financial reports, and ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Oversee the collection of fees, issuance of receipts, and timely submission of financial documents to the Head Office.
- Ensure a safe, secure, and healthy environment for children and staff, adhering to health and safety standards.
Qualifications (Required):
- Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience.
- Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education or higher.
- Registered and certified with ECDA as L2 with Leadership.
- Passionate about fostering a love for learning and positively impacting children's lives.
- Excellent communication, analytical, decision-making, and supervisory skills.
