Position: Purchasing Manager

We pride ourselves on delivering top-notch car repair services with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Purchase Manager to join our team and help streamline our procurement process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Management: Oversee and manage the procurement of automotive parts, tools, and supplies. Ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of all necessary inventory.
- Vendor Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors. Negotiate terms, prices, and contracts to achieve favorable conditions.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock. Implement inventory management practices to reduce excess stock and avoid shortages.
- Cost Management: Develop and implement strategies to reduce procurement costs while maintaining quality standards. Analyze market trends to forecast pricing and supply conditions.
- Quality Assurance: Evaluate the quality of purchased products and services. Work closely with the repair team to ensure that all parts meet the required standards.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all purchases, transactions, and supplier interactions. Prepare regular reports on procurement activities and inventory status.
- Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Skills: Strong negotiation skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office applications.
- Languages: Proficiency in both Mandarin and English is preferred to effectively communicate with a diverse range of suppliers and team members.
- Knowledge: Understanding of automotive parts and repair processes is advantageous. Familiarity with Singapore’s market conditions and regulatory environment is a plus.
- Personal Attributes: Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a proactive approach to managing procurement challenges.
