Responsibilities:
Participates in business and system process discussions to identify user requirements:
- Actively engage with stakeholders from various departments to understand their business processes and gather user requirements. This ensures the SAP system is tailored to meet business needs and optimize workflow efficiency.
Provides support and consultative advice on SAP related business functions and activities:
- Serve as an expert advisor on SAP functionalities, guiding users and stakeholders on best practices, process improvements, and system capabilities to enhance business operations.
Liaises with SAP vendor on Application Management Services:
- Act as the key point of contact between the organization and the SAP vendor to ensure timely and efficient application support, addressing issues, updates, or enhancements as needed.
Evaluates third-party add-on capabilities of SAP system:
- Assess the feasibility, functionality, and benefits of third-party applications or add-ons that integrate with SAP, ensuring they meet business needs and align with overall system architecture.
Conducts feasibility study on system modules in relation to business requirements:
- Analyze the potential of existing or new SAP modules to meet the company’s specific business needs, assessing costs, risks, and benefits before implementing new solutions.
Prepares documentation on customized program on overall SAP landscape:
- Develop and maintain detailed technical and user documentation for any customized SAP programs or configurations, ensuring clarity for future reference, audits, and training.
Tracks and monitors project timeline, requirement changes, and project cost:
- Manage and oversee the progress of SAP-related projects by keeping track of deadlines, managing scope changes, and monitoring budgets to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Provides periodic management reports on project progression:
- Prepare and present regular reports to management, detailing the progress of ongoing SAP projects, any issues encountered, key milestones achieved, and next steps.
Provide L1 and L2 SAP support across FICO/ SD/ MM:
- Offer first- and second-level support for SAP Financial Accounting (FICO), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Materials Management (MM) modules by resolving user issues and ensuring smooth system operation.
Follow up on L3 incidents until completion:
- Coordinate with higher-level support teams to resolve complex SAP incidents (L3), tracking their status until resolution, and ensuring minimal disruption to business processes.
Participates in various SAP projects, enhancements, rollouts, and post go-live support:
- Play an active role in the implementation of SAP enhancements and projects, including system upgrades, rollouts of new functionalities, and providing post go-live support to ensure smooth transitions and user satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP in FICO, SD, MM, and related modules.
- Proven expertise in SAP within a technical and/or functional role, focusing on Material Management, Logistics Operations, or Sales Distribution.
- Experience with SAP OpenText is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to relate business processes to system processes.
- Solid experience managing projects throughout their entire lifecycle.
- A good understanding of international logistics is a bonus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong technical IT skills, with a passion for learning new software applications.
