Job Description:
This is a full time role for a Quantity Surveyor (Commercial Industry) located in Kakit Bukit. Our client is one of the few commercial interior design firms and you will be responsible for overseeing tendering and cost estimation for commercial, industrial, retail, and residential projects, focusing on interior fitting-out, building maintenance, and renovation. Key responsibilities include measuring quantities, managing progress claims, and preparing and analysing costs for tenders. The individual must be proficient in both pre- and post-contract duties, cost control, and handling variations. Additionally, they will source new vendors, review prices, and manage subcontractors. The role also requires assisting the project team with contractual matters, including claims for extensions of time and expenses.
Qualifications:
- Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Building Services, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent
- Good knowledge and experience in tendering commercial/industrial/retail interior fitting out projects.
- Min 4 years experiences in interior design/renovation /building industry.
- At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position in Singapore project only
