The Business Change Lead will have overall accountability for the delivery of business engagement, communication and change management.
General
- Managing and executing the business change.
- Managing the programme plan on behalf of the business.
- Working with the programme core team to ensure there is a single co-ordinate cross business plan.
- Co-ordinate all change activities, change related communications and training deliverables.
- Identify, mobilize and manager change network.
- Identify stakeholder groups and perform stakeholder readiness assessment (understand challenges, where there may be resistance and how to overcome).
Communications
- Own the Communications Plan for business engagement and key stakeholders, responsible for ensuring effective communication delivery.
- Work with communication resource to ensure timely delivery of communications.
- Pulse checks, regular engagement with the business to see how they feel about the change.
Change
- Work with local change agents to educate them in terms of business readiness and ensure they are able to execute deliverables within the change plan.
- Ensure business readiness, change transition planning and management.
- Undertake the Change Impact Assessment (CIA). Work with Business Process Leads to see where there is a delta between current and future process and how these will be addressed. The CIA document will inform the Training Needs Analysis document and will work with the Training team to create and deliver the training proposal.
- Provide CIA for any scope changes where we deviate from standard SI/ERP processes (customization or configuration change).
- Make an assessment of go-live readiness to support the go-live stage gate review.
Training
- Arranging training for core programme team, conducting a TNA (training needs analysis) and working with the SI to ensure training materials are delivered.
- Work with Business Process Leads to ensure they have the right knowledge and experience to deliver training post Train the Trainer education from the SI.
- Review of training materials against the CIA prior to validation of the training materials during UAT by business users.
