Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled individual to join our team as a Project and Sales Engineer in the HVAC & Refrigeration (HVAC & R) industry. This role involves a blend of project management and sales responsibilities, ensuring the successful design, installation, and maintenance of HVAC systems while driving business growth through strategic sales activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Project
- Design, plan, and oversee testing, commissioning, and site supervision for HVAC & Refrigeration projects, adhering to project plans, specifications, and contracts.
- Prepare and maintain design documents, submittals, and re-estimate reports. Ensure proper project documentation and regularly update management on project progress.
- Conduct site surveys, plan the placement of pipework, ducts, and control panels, and attend site meetings. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and monitor construction progress.
- Liaise with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
- Perform testing, commissioning, and quality checks to ensure the performance, reliability, and safety of HVAC systems. Diagnose, repair, and maintain system components.
- Assist clients in optimizing energy use, resolving faults, and providing post-installation support.
- Generate 2D engineering & electrical drawings with software.
- Manage material and labor costs to meet budget requirements.
Sales
- Analyse market trends, monitor competitors, and identify new market segments and potential buyer profiles.
- Engage with customers, follow up on leads, and manage client relationships to ensure acquisition and retention.
- Develop and execute sales plans, negotiate deals, and provide technical support pre- and post-sales.
- Prepare detailed sales reports and collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Promote the use of innovative technologies and contribute to continuous improvement strategies.
Requirement:
- Min. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- Recent Graduates are welcome, comprehensive training will be provided.
- Previous experience in Sales or Engineering in HVAC & R industry is advantageous.
- Strong interest in HVAC & Refrigeration technologies and solutions.
- Strong understanding of mechanical or electrical systems and technologies, with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Results-oriented with strong organisational, time management, and prioritisation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel (including overseas) as needed for onsite client meetings, presentations, industry events, and etc as required
