As a Senior Project Engineer, your main responsibility is to lead, supervise, execute and coordinate project activities together with a group of Engineers, Technicians and sub-contractors leading to successful project completion. You will monitor and control projects on schedule, within budgeted cost and quality and safety standards. You will also work closely with the consultant/owner to ensure the project is delivered according to requirements. As a senior, you are also required to perform system programming and troubleshooting during project implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise, and coordinate project activities with a team of Engineers, Technicians, and sub-contractors.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards.
- Work closely with consultants and owners to deliver projects according to their requirements.
- Perform system programming and troubleshooting during project implementation.
- Project Planning & Design: Collaborate with sales staff and clients to understand and confirm security needs. Develop detailed project plans, manage timelines, budgets, and contractor allocations.
- System Installation & Integration: Oversee the installation and integration of security systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Conduct testing and troubleshooting.
- Technical Support: Address technical issues and provide support during system handover.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
- Client Communication & Training: Assist with client training sessions on system operations and prepare training materials.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure systems meet regulations and implement safety protocols.
- Team Coordination & Management: Coordinate with stakeholders, manage project progress, and liaise with suppliers.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks, implement best practices, and adhere to safety standards.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Course of studies in Electrical and/or Electronics or any related Engineering course.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in site supervision and coordination with owners, main contractors, and sub-contractors. Experience in alarm, card access, and CCTV system installation is essential.
- Skills: Proficiency in system programming, troubleshooting, and risk management.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
