The Applied and Computational ELectromagnetics (ACEL) group under School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering is looking for a Research Fellow (RF) who will work on developing radar signal processing algorithms and deep learning techniques for detecting the objects/targets behind the walls.
Key Responsibilities
- Exploring the different waveforms via different radar techniques
- Developing signal processing and deep learning algorithms to increase the signal-to-noise ratio and detect the objects/targets located behind the walls
- Validating the developed algorithms for various indoor environments
- Maintaining project budget, purchasing the equipment, following up with procurement, managing data, and writing the project report
- Working with the PhD/MSc students and researchers and effectively guiding them.
Job Requirement
- PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field
- At least 5-years of research experience after PhD
- Experience in the development of radar signal processing
- Experience in performing radar measurements and using measurement tools
- Good publication record
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
