· Cord blood receiving, processing and storing.
· Reading and understanding SOPs
· To monitor and document the temperature of an equipment.
· Perform equipment usage log on daily basis.
· Testing – Leukocyte count for Precount, Prefreeze pre dmso count and post thaw count, viability, CD34+
enumeration.
· Quality control for Haematology analyser, BD FACS Calibur, Trypan Blue.
· Documentation for receiving register, storage register, master record log, sterility register etc.
· Maintaining quality, to prevent from contamination, to maintain integrity of the cord blood unit throughout
processing till storing in LN2 tank.
· Receiving of reports from testing vendor, review and filing in client’s unit chart file.
· Shifting of final product from quarantine tank to permanent tank.
· Maintains laboratory equipment performance by making quality criteria.
· Maintains laboratory supplies inventory by holding back stock to set inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
· Maintain smooth laboratory workflow.
· Perform laboratory administrative duties as assigned.
