Our client, a global business consulting and internal audit firm composed of experts specializing in risk, advisory and transaction services. They focus on helping their clients solve problems in finance and transactions, operations, technology, litigation, governance, risk, and compliance
The Role
- Solid knowledge of auditing processes and methodologies, including flowcharting.
- Assess and communicate audit findings, and provide professional recommendations to our clients on risk mitigation measures
- Review key client deliverables such as IA reports, working papers, and audit programs before final QC by the Director / Managing Director
- Solid understanding of internal control concepts
- Perform risk assessment and create a multiple year IA plan
- Manage the development and execution of a detailed audit work plan for the IT audit component of the IA project
- Assess and communicate audit findings, and provide professional recommendations to our clients on risk mitigation measures
- Attend and present at key stakeholders’ meetings including planning and risk assessment discussions, Audit Committee meeting etc
- Sharing knowledge and insights and emerging IA best practices, issues and trends
- Enterprise risk reporting and analysis experience (limits, exceptions/escalation experience, etc. a plus especially with respect to the design and implementation of these reports and frameworks)
- Knowledge of Audit tools such as ACL and Agile processes is a plus
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline (e.g. Accounting, Finance or Business-Related field) required
- 8+ years in a related field, preferably in professional services and/or industry
- Professional Certification such as CPA, CISA strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical and excellent report writing skills
- Highly analytical, creative in thinking and tenacious with a “take charge” attitude
- Able to work independently as well as in teams of varying sizes
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills, including documentation of findings and recommendations
- Ability to multi-task and oversee multiple engagements and work streams with various clients
- Ability to work with a diverse portfolio of clients across industries
- Supervisory experience of teams including consultants, senior consultants and managers
- Advanced project management and status reporting capabilities
ABILITY TO TRAVEL: We travel throughout the months frequently based upon client requests/commitments. Travel may include suburban, regional, or out of state locations
