Overview:
As a Kitchen Cook at BYD by 1826 Pte Ltd, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality dishes that meet our standards for taste, presentation, and consistency. You will work within a dynamic team in a fast-paced kitchen environment, contributing to the overall success of our culinary operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to established recipes and menu standards. Ensure that food is seasoned and cooked to perfection.
- Cooking and Assembly: Utilize various cooking methods including grilling, sautéing, baking, and frying to produce high-quality meals.
- Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace. Adhere to food safety protocols and hygiene standards to ensure a safe cooking environment.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage ingredient supplies. Assist with ordering and receiving deliveries, and ensure proper storage of food items.
- Menu Execution: Follow daily prep lists and ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner according to the menu specifications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with sous chefs, line cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations and efficient service.
