Job Role & Responsibilities
• In charge of infants 2 to 18 months.
• Plan and execute the daily program, developmental tasks, and caregiving responsibilities as assigned
• Invests in the infants’ well-being, health, and safety
• Create a safe environment and provide the best possible care to infants under their care
• Build and maintain good rapport with parents
• Contributes to child learning, growth, and advancement,
• Maintains a positive mindset toward child learning and social-emotional development.
• Adheres to school processes and protocols.
• Good interpersonal and organization skills
• Build relationships and partnerships, and work as a team with fellow colleagues.
• Patient and sensitive towards needs of an infant
• Responsible and attentive towards the overall safety, health and well-being of the infants
• Good communication skills to connect with parents/ caregivers
• Ability to organize tasks and manage time to meet deadlines.
Infant care Teacher Qualifications / Skills:
1. Obtained at least a Certificate in Infant Care (CIT)/Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY)/Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC), or its equivalent
2. Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education OR Teaching: ACEY L1/L2 certified
3. Fluent in English/ Mandarin (spoken and written)
