Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Owner and Business Leads to facilitate and elicit requirements from business stakeholders or SMEs.
- Lead discussions, propose solutions that meet business requirements and explain how the solution addresses the business requirements. Solutions cover technical implementations or/and operational changes.
- Groom User Stories or prepare Functional Specifications Document (FSD), to document the IT solution, along with the delivery of Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) and Acceptance Criteria.
- Validate IT solutions with technical and architecture teams, and ensure specifications are properly understood by delivery team.
- Collaborate with Project Manager/Scrum Master, Delivery Manager, Tech Lead, Developers, and Architect teams to ensure the solutions are delivered through the IT application implementations.
- Support delivery team during the execution phase in clarifying queries pertaining to the FSD or BRD or User Stories. Where necessary, re-engage business SMEs to revise requirements and/or for the acceptance of alternative solutions, due to design or implementation constraints encountered.
- Lead as Quality Assurance manager to define the test strategy and approach and provide clarifications to queries during the testing phase.
- Review or provide test artifacts like test plan, test scenarios, test cases and data.
- Support in the triaging of defects to categorize their criticality and prioritize defect fixing where necessary.
- Prepare training plans and user manuals; and conduct trainings to users before system launch, and provide close support to system users in the adoption of the new system.
- Work with the various business stakeholders and supporting technology teams in solutioning and submission of business papers for sponsor approval, including budget estimation, resource requirements and RFP preparations and evaluation.
- Produce Project Proposal to senior stakeholders for endorsement and funding for project execution.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst or equivalent in a similar discipline.
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills, with strong ability to manage and align expectations of senior level business stakeholders across different business units to accept solutions proposed by project team.
- Proficient in visual modeling and documentation of user stories, use cases, business processes, data transformation logics and user interfaces.
- Experience in data modeling with good knowledge of system engineering concepts, data and information structures in system applications and database design.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills,
- Able to adapt and respond quickly to changes.
- Strong delivery mindset with experience in iterative analysis, design and various delivery methods (Agile, SDLC).
- Domain knowledge in at least one of the following:
- Client lifecycle management (onboarding, maintenance)
- Client due diligence (KYC) compliance and FATCA/CRS reporting
- Degree in computer, mathematics or financial discipline preferred.
