About the Role:
The position requires the incumbent to:
- Solicit buyers by cold calling through tapping on social media platforms to reach and coordinate details for potential buyers.
- Evaluate applications for hosted buyer candidates for events
- Review buyer registration data regularly with hosted buyer and marketing team to identify potential buyer upgrades
- Hosting & administration of online buyers module.
- Assist event management team on-site with handing hosted buyer queries and supporting the running of the hosted buyer lounges and onsite hosted buyer events.
- Assist in creative marketing efforts - first to our “interest" list, then to any referrals or other secondary sources, monitoring and tracking responses.
- Be proficient in all areas of spoken and writing including email communication, weekly and monthly reports.
- Be involved in esteemed regional events such as CruiseWorld Asia, Readers’ Choice Awards and Meetings & Conventions Asia and The Meetings Show & Business Travel Show Asia Pacific 2025.
Qualifications:
- Diploma Holder in Business/Marketing or Tourism & Hospitality.
- Be well versed in MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint and internet research experience.
- Service oriented with an eye for details.
- Enthusiastic, proactive and eager to learn.
- Strong English and Mandarin communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Have an interest in Tourism, hospitality and events management.
