Job Summary: The Specialist, Marcom will be responsible for executing communication strategies that support the association’s goals and mission. This role involves content creation, managing member communications, coordinating public relations & advocacy activities, and supporting marketing initiatives to drive member engagement, and overall brand management.
Job Description
Communication
- Support the annual productions and publications of the Year in Review (YIR) and the Directory of Singapore Process & Chemical Industries.
- Oversee the end-to-end process of producing the ASPRI Calendar, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
- Strengthen and maintain our social media presence on platforms such as LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and Telegram including creating and posting relevant, high-quality content to engage stakeholders effectively.
- Manage and update the ASPRI website promptly and professionally.
- Prepare, write, and distribute timely industry-related news to members via circulars and electronic direct mail (eDM). Ensure the content is accurate, relevant, and engaging.
Marketing
- Assist in the conceptualisation, design, and production of various marketing materials, including collaterals, circulars, and posters.
- Evaluate the outcomes of marketing and communication activities and prepare monthly reports for internal review if required.
- Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns for the training division as needed, ensuring effective promotion and outreach.
Admin
- Maintain records of news related to the Process Industry to keep stakeholders informed.
- Write minutes of meetings, facilitate discussions, and prepare meeting materials, including presentation slides, to ensure effective communication and record-keeping.
- Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Management.
Job Requirements include but not limited to
- Diploma or Degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a marketing and communication role.
- Good knowledge and hands-on experience with social media platforms and email marketing tools.
- Strong writing and communication skills to effectively create content for eDMs and circulars.
- Familiar with Graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Canva
- Capable of working independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Willingness to be deployed to our training center to provide support as needed.
