Sap Basis Consultant
Job Requirement:
- Required skills:
- 5+ years of experience in SAP BASIS administration including system installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- SAP BASIS Administration Certified
- Experience with SAP ECC systems, architecture and components.
- Experience in managing SAP landscapes in on-premises environments is a plus.
- Experience with backup and recovery tools and disaster recovery processes
- Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager for system monitoring and management.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows) and databases (Oracle, MSSQL).
- System Administration:
- Manage and monitor SAP ECC systems, including system health checks, user administration, and authorization management.
- Perform regular SAP system maintenance tasks such as system refreshes, kernel upgrades, patch management, and transport management.
- System Performance and Tuning:
- Monitor system performance, analyze system logs, and perform performance tuning to optimize SAP ECC system performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP ECC systems, databases, and underlying infrastructure.
- System Support:
- Provide day-to-day technical support and resolve incidents within defined SLAs.
- Collaborate with the team to handle service requests, change requests, and problem management.
- Coordinate with vendors, hardware teams, and other IT departments to resolve complex technical issues.
- Backup and Recovery:
- Implement and manage SAP ECC backup and recovery strategies, ensuring data integrity and system availability.
- Conduct regular system backups and disaster recovery drills to ensure readiness for any unexpected outages.
- System Upgrades and Migrations:
- Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and patch management activities.
- Provide support during SAP projects including system installations, configuration, and go-live support.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for SAP ECC systems, processes, and procedures.
- Generate and analyze system performance reports, providing recommendations for improvements
