Job Description: Senior IT Manager, Asia

Description
The senior IT Manager position for the Asia Region supports all incoming technical support requests for
Silver Lake’s Hong Kong and Singapore offices along with assisting in support worldwide. The primary
duty of the position is to support, manage and resolve all incoming technical support requests for the
Asia Region in addition to assisting with USA afterhours tickets.
• Responsibilities:
o Manage technical support cases. Respond to user requests for service and determine the
nature and extent oftechnical supportneededfor issues withend-user PCs,handheld
devices and other IT relatedequipment.
o As a member of the helpdesk staff, respond to support requests on site or over the phone.
Resolve support calls and emails in an efficient and professional manner.
o Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot a wide range of PC software applications.
Perform hardware/software upgrades to existing computer equipment asneeded.
o Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot Server visualized environments including
host/guest OS and redundant Hyper-converged Environment.
o Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot Active Directory environments including DNS,
DHCP, Group Policy, AD servers, as well as, Microsoft Office 365, e-Mail, SharePoint and
Teams instances.
o Sustain working knowledge of end user hardware and software and the Silver Lake IT
infrastructure.
• Requirements:
o Position requires a degree in computer science or related discipline
o 20+ years help desk experience.
o 20+ years Windows and Office experience.
o 10+ years managing virtual server environments
o The ability to independently perform all the duties of the position efficiently and
effectively.
o Must have strong communication and training skills and be able to communicate technical
information to non-technical users.
• Experience:
o Extensive experience in customer service.
o Extensive experience supporting handheld devices such as iPhones/iPads and Android.
o Experience managing devices with Intune MDM
o Extensive experience managing visualization environments including Hyperconverged
Hosts and Guest Operating Systems
o Extensive experience managing a Windows 2016 Active Directory environments
o Experience with Windows AutoPilot and EntraAD joined machines
o Experience managing cloud hosted SAAS products
o IT certifications such as A+, Network+, Security+, MCP/MCSA
o Experience with HP printers/Dell desktops/laptops/Servers a plus.
o Must be experience dealing with high level executives and ability to work well under
pressure.
o Experience working for private equity / hedge fund preferred.
• Qualifications
o Requires technical knowledge of the techniques and procedures of Microsoft Windows
10, Microsoft Office 365 and Apple OSX.
o Requires technical knowledge o f Basic Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, subletting).
o Requires technical knowledge o f Remote access technologies (VPN, broadband,
terminal services).
o The ability to install, configure, manage and optimize operating systems and application
throughout the Microsoft Product Stack.
o Requires sufficient analytical skills to assess problems or unusual situations and develop
solutions.
o Depending on the assignment, may require travel, the ability to stand, walk and
manipulate (lift, carry, move) light to medium weights of 10 - 50 pounds.
Salary Expectations
10,000-15,800 SGD monthly
