Job Description
Working with the management team, the Ecommerce Platform Policy Manager is responsible for designing and implementing platform policies and service level agreements for Krisshop partners and merchants. The role is also required to design, track and analyze performance metrics for each of the policies to ensure partners and merchants achieve their targets. The role is also required to communicate new policies or policy updates to business teams and partners or merchants. Periodically, this role is also required to share the merchant’s performance to business teams and implement non-compliant or non-performance enforcement if needed.
Responsibilities
Design Platform Policies
o Design platform policies to ensure merchants always provide the required shopping experience to Krisshop customers including but not limited to listing accuracies, stock availability, delivery experience and product quality.
o Maintain and update buyer policy, sale terms to ensure compliance with legal standards, platform governance, and evolving business needs.
o Liaise with cross-functional teams including commercial, customer service, product management, legal to identify area for improvement and implement changes.
Implement and Communicate Policies
o Work closely with business teams for policy implementation and communication.
· Track and measure merchant performance
o Work closely with relevant team to setup merchant performance tracking and measurement
o Able to access, query and analyze performance data to provide performance measurement for each merchant across all policies measurement
Policy enforcement
o Work closely with business and customer experience team for non-compliance and non-performance improvement or enforcement.
o Partner with commercial team to communicate and educate the policy to merchants to comply and acknowledge on enforcement actions in case of non-compliance.
o Closely monitor and analyze merchant non-compliance situation, investigate the causes, and seek for solutions to resolve for any fundamental issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a business or analytics or relevant field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience data analyst or business analyst or major/minor in analytics in university
- Prefer 2-3 years of experience in marketplace e-commerce policymaking or compliance role
- Strong business acumen and analytical, with ability to work with some ambiguity a plus
- Good problem-solving skills a plus
- Cross functional working experience a plus
- Good communication and interpersonal skills a plus
- Good people management skills a plus
- Prefer with technical Skills:
- Experience in SQL and proficient in Python/R or similar data analytical tools
- Experience with data modeling, data analysis and visualization tools.
- Statistical methods for building robust and actionable metrics.
