Primary Objective(s) of Position
- To oversee the work efficiency of team to ensure that productivity and cost efficiency targets are achieved
Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee the operations of the team in terms of order processing, delivery, expedition of outstanding orders, quotations, and literature orders.
- Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and timely to meet supply lead times
- Work with logistics provider to ensure parts are delivered quickly and accurately based on customers’ requirements
- Ensure parts discrepancies are addressed with customers and file Discrepancy Report to CAT for claims settlement
- Verify invoices within the team before approval for further processing
- Conduct weekly backorder reviews and follow-ups
- Identify and troubleshoot problems to avoid recurrences
- Provide technical support and recommendation to customers
- Ensure all enquiries including Bids are attended within acceptable time frame
Person Specifications
- A Diploma in Engineering or 2 years of relevant experience in the spare parts trade
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Meticulous, highly organized and a team player
- Possess good interpersonal, customer service and coordination skills
- Ability to converse coherently with customers through phone calls and emails
