As a Payroll Assistant, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Assist in end-to-end processing of payroll for employees and ensure accuracy and adherence to established policies and procedures
- Collect and verify timesheets, leave records, and other relevant data for payroll calculations
- Calculate wages, deductions, and other payroll-related components based on established guidelines and applicable regulations.
- Assist in resolving payroll discrepancies or issues, working closely with the HR department and relevant stakeholders
- Submit government childcare / maternity / paternity leave and other government grants
- Maintain proper payroll documentations and authorisations for internal and external audit.
- Process and complete all documentations and updating of HRIS for the entire employee life cycle
- Clearance of income tax
Requirements:
- Relevant Diploma holder in related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Proficient in Timesoft payroll system
