Key Responsibilities:
- CI/CD Solutions: Design and implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) solutions within an AWS environment.
- Automation: Automate the code delivery pipeline to facilitate one-click deployments, rollbacks, and parameterized builds.
- Infrastructure Management: Build, operate, and maintain application infrastructure, including infrastructure automation and monitoring.
- Collaboration with Development Team: Work closely with the development team to integrate DevOps practices and ensure that new architectures prioritize ease of management, delivery, and operability.
- Issue Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot application and service issues or system outages, providing clear status updates to management and engineering teams.
- System Scaling & On-Call: Manage the scaling of all systems and participate in an on-call rotation.
Key Requirements:
- AWS Experience: Over 5 years of hands-on experience with AWS.
- Containerization & CI/CD: Strong experience with Docker and AWS ECS or EKS, as well as CI/CD solutions using Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Automation Tools: Proficient in automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
- Scripting Skills: Extensive scripting experience in Bash and Python, particularly for system automation and monitoring.
- Unix/Linux Administration: Solid experience in Unix/Linux system administration.
- Networking: Strong knowledge of networking within complex environments, including load balancing, routing, DNS, network firewalls, and application firewalls.
- AWS Services: Practical experience with various AWS services including EC2, ASG, ElastiCache, Aurora MySQL, ALB/NLB, S3, Lambda, etc.
- Logging & Monitoring: Hands-on experience with logging and monitoring solutions using tools such as CloudWatch, Jaeger, Prometheus, ELK, and DataDog.
- Communication & Teamwork: Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with DevOps engineers, product managers, developers, etc.
