New Life Stories is seeking a dedicated Manager of Fundraising and Grant Applications to drive our fundraising initiatives. This role is vital for developing strategies to secure diverse funding sources, particularly through grant writing and management. If you're skilled at preparing high-quality grant applications, building donor relationships, and implementing innovative fundraising strategies, we want to hear from you.
You'll also support fundraising events and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
Donor Management & Grant Applications:
- Grant Administration: Oversee the preparation and manage the end-to-end grant management process, including gathering required data, documents, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring timely submission, with emphasis on multi-year and small grants applications.
- Grant Writing: Working closely with various departments for data and insights, craft persuasive proposals and communications to attract and retain grant funding.
- Grant Income Generation: Achieve fundraising targets and align efforts with strategic goals.
- Prospect Research: Research and identify potential sources of grant funding from both public and private entities. Prepare and submit grant proposals, ensuring alignment with funder requirements and organizational goals
- Grant tracking & reporting: Develop and maintain a grant tracking system to monitor key dates, deliverables, and reporting requirements. Prepare and submit grant-related reports to funders as required.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to best practices in fundraising, grant management, and data protection.
- Donor Relations: Build and maintain relationships with current donors and actively seek new supporters.
Fundraising:
- Strategy: Develop and implement effective strategies to meet annual revenue goals.
- Project Development: Support the creation and enhancement of projects to maximize funding potential.
- Events & Partnerships: Assist in planning, organizing, and executing fundraising events and partnerships to align with overall strategy.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in fundraising, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
- Demonstrated expertise in grant writing and managing grant applications.
- Strong background in donor management and fundraising strategy.
- Experience with fundraising events is a plus.
Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proficient in donor management software, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and Salesforce.
- Time management capabilities is a must
- Knowledgeable about fundraising best practices, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
