Join a leading global consultancy working with a major banking client on an exciting project to lead the migration of legacy applications to a new regionalized vendor product as part of the Bank’s mid-term Payments Strategy. You'll manage a diverse team across multiple geographies, work with onshore and offshore stakeholders, and oversee the end-to-end delivery of this high-impact project.
Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end project management from initiation through to implementation.
• Develop and execute a detailed project plan, tracking milestones and reporting on progress.
• Manage project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Coordinate with multiple stakeholders across geographies, ensuring successful delivery.
• Oversee external vendors and manage internal resource allocation.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget while managing risks.
Qualifications:
• 8+ years of project management experience with a Bachelor’s degree in IT or related fields.
• PMP or equivalent certification; knowledge of both waterfall and agile methodologies (Scrum Master certification is a plus).
• Proven experience with large-scale global projects, cross-geography teams, and corporate banking implementations.
• Domain knowledge in Cash Payments, Virtual Payments (VAM), or Liquidity Payments is MUST.
• Experience in migrating legacy systems into new regional vendor products.
• Strong presentation skills are essential for engaging with senior management and stakeholders.
• Experience working in Banking/Finance, especially in the APAC region.
• Ability to manage stakeholder relationships at all levels and deliver high-impact solutions.
A hard requirement for this role is that you need to be coming from the banking domain.
