This is a one-year contract to begin with and at the end it will be converted into perm or contract will be extended further. This will be a long-term role due to the niche domain that my client is in and they will have to teach you the domain knowledge through on the job!
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate regularly with business units to ensure project alignment and enhance overall service experience.
- Participate in project teams to deliver IT projects within budget and on schedule, while adhering to internal processes and standards, including IT security and SDLC frameworks.
- Engage in requirements gathering, design discussions, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and user training; ensure comprehensive project documentation.
- Coordinate with team members, software architects, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery.
- Identify, manage, and resolve complex issues, mitigating escalations when possible.
- Stay informed about industry trends, disruptions, and innovations in technology to support business needs effectively.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- 4-5 years of experience in technology with strong business analysis skills.
- Understanding of hospitality systems and how they integrate to provide a seamless customer experience.
- Experience in creating tender documents, evaluating tenders, and contracting is advantageous.
- Proven ability to facilitate business users in defining problem statements, articulating desired business outcomes, and driving business transformation or process re-engineering.
- Flexibility to adapt to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in running agile projects is preferred.
- Added bonus if you have experience with working on Hotel Systems.
