Business Development and Account Manager

Synfindo operates the APIX platform, an ecosystem where Financial Institutions and regulators can search for and discover innovative, digital solution providers from 2,100+ Fintechs. They can rapidly design, experiment and test solutions by creating their proof of concept on the platform.

Synfindo was formed in late 2022 and its investors include the LemmaTree Group (founded by Temasek) and Mastercard. The company is headquartered in Singapore and works with clients globally.


Our Products

Accelerate innovation with APIX Innovation Platform, a digital, software-as-a-service platform help financial institutions, regulators and other corporates to innovate quickly, safely and cost-effectively. APIX products include:

· Digital Hackathon Platform to search for and discover innovators

· Digital Sandbox Platform to test and build POCs with innovators

· Digital Fintech and Startup registry

· APIX Private Label Platform deployed as a white-labeled, managed service on the customer’s cloud

Primary Responsibilities

· Support Head of Business Development & Strategy to manage inbound leads, existing client conversations to close and take sales conversations to completion

· Prepare and / or refine sales and marketing collateral to best explain and pitch APIX’s product suite to Institutional clients

· Manage and Support existing clients as an account manager to up-sell / cross-sell APIX products, solve for any issues faced, collect overdue payment etc.

· Manage and support existing channel sales partners across various geographies including regular governance, performance management, lead tracking

· Work closely with Marketing to deliver campaigns leading to better client engagement and sales outcomes

· Provide market (client and competitor) insights to Product and other internal stakeholders to and help business strategy and product developments

· Undertake regular sales KPI reporting on Zoho CRM including pipeline, sales funnel updates and provide accurate sales forecasts

· Play the role of key account manager for top-5 APIX clients to drive re-sell and / or up-sell


Secondary (nice to have) Responsibilities

· Establish new client relationships and leverage existing relationships to sell APIX’s suite of product offerings across target markets

· Own the full sales cycle from designing and executing GTM strategy, driving sales, and overseeing post-sales account management and support

· Identify new channel partners to help sell APIX products globally

· Develop sales strategy, define funnel and maximize sales output


You will be a great fit if you have

· Experience and/or connection with FI clients, specifically banks and insurance organizations

· Proven track record of selling technology products and services to financial services players both enterprise and/or smaller companies

· Business development / sales / key account management experience in the financial services sector – level of experience will be used to calibrate level / title of the role

· Ability to establish new client relations in financial services and nurture them across various sectors such as commercial / private sectors, public e.g. government / regulators and industry associations and / fintechs

· Comfortable working as a strategic partner to your clients – can build and maintain relationships, engage clients and/or channel partners to drive sales
