Job Scope:
- Extensive experience in implementing and optimizing SAP Materials Management (MM) solutions.
- The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing and leading SAP MM projects, ensuring that all procurement, inventory, and logistics processes align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP MM Implementation:
- Lead and manage end-to-end SAP MM implementation projects, including blueprinting, configuration, testing, training, and post-go-live support.
- Conduct requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders to understand and document business needs and translate them into SAP MM solutions.
- Design, configure, and customize SAP MM module to support procurement, inventory management, material valuation, and logistics processes.
Procurement & Inventory Management:
- Manage and optimize procurement processes, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, vendor management, and invoice verification.
- Oversee inventory management functions such as goods receipt, goods issue, stock transfers, and physical inventory.
Logistics Execution:
- Implement and configure logistics processes, including inbound and outbound deliveries, shipping, and transportation management.
- Ensure seamless integration of SAP MM with other modules such as SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), PP (Production Planning), and WM (Warehouse Management).
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify areas for process improvements within the SAP MM module and implement best practices to enhance system efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide recommendations for new features and functionalities to optimize business processes.
Project Management & Leadership:
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for SAP MM, providing guidance and mentoring to junior consultants and project team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical, business, and external partners to deliver high-quality SAP solutions.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
Support & Maintenance:
- Provide post-go-live support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the SAP MM module is functioning optimally.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and best practices.
Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP MM configuration, including procurement, inventory management, material valuation, and logistics.
- Deep understanding of integration points between SAP MM and other modules like SAP SD, PP, and WM.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
- Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- SAP MM certification is a plus.
