Job Description:
- Undertake the role of BIM Manager for all local projects and new tenders
- Responsible for creating, implementing and enforcing project BIM execution plans
- Creation and maintenance of the software template files to align with standards
- Manage BIM outputs for client issue and ensure they meet the Client’s information requirements
- Automate routines in BIM to support standards and productivity
- Provide quality control for completeness and adherence to company standards of all outputs produced. Knowledge of PAS1192 standards is desirable.
- Assist in developing and enforcing BIM Documentation and workflow process standards
- Support Project Standards Coordination with Stakeholders
- Undertake audits on provided models and report on non-conformances with the BIM Execution plan and Client requirements.
- Manage and distribute coordinated Information Models with the project team
- Provide BIM Management and training on BIM based tools
- Provide Technical orientation to new hires regarding BIM tools and Strategy
- Assess BIM based competencies of new and existing staff
- Stay informed on best practices for Digital Engineering
- Any other duties as assigned by the immediate superior
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering or related disciplines
- More than 10 years of experience in a similar capacity in the construction industry
- Highly proficient in BIM software e.g. Revit, Navisworks
- Demonstrated experience in design management and understanding of construction delivery
- Ability to manage a project’s digital information across all functions
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and risk management skills
