- Lead the BIM department and assist Engineering department in various stages of project including marketing, tender and all phases in the project cycle.
- Lead SMCC Singapore in discussion with SMCC International / Global meetings on BIM Development of SMCC.
Duties:
- Develop, plan BIM Execution plan for the company and to lead the BIM department. Setup the BIM project template, coordinates & BIM project standards.
- Develop training plans and conduct internal training to BIM department for continuous improvement.
- Lead BIM Department in discussion with international SMCC BIM teams on BIM development.
- Lead and manage the BIM department / team and coordinate with other disciplines in modelling during Marketing, Tender, Construction, As-built stage or even FM stage of the project.
- Generate Revit-based plans, diagrams, sections, elevations and schedule that can be used as tender drawing, drawing for Authority submission, shop drawing, fabrication drawing, 4D simulation, 5D quantity take-off , as built drawing or even FM drawings.
- Maintenance, implementation of the company’s BIM standard in line with BCA’s digitalisation transformation roadmap
- Prepare BIM Development / progress status / training sessions and contribute to the improvement of DX of SMCC International / Global meetings.
- Maintain the BIM CDE (Common Data Environment) and version/ change management of all central models & links
Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture, Engineering
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- 5+ years as BIM Modeller / Manager using modelling software (Revit, Navisworks).
- Experience in carry out BIM Modelling in commercial / residential / plant / civil work.
- Competency of using Revit software for authoring, Navisworks software for coordination and BIM 360 software for CDE. Fuzor / Lumion / SketchUp / 3DsMax etc for visualisation / perspective / sequencing
- Good knowledge in Architecture, Structure, basic MEP (would be an advantage) design and space planning. Experience in drawings submission to authorities is an advantage.
- Must be a team player and ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
- Good time management skills, team player and good working attitude
- Sound understanding of project management in relation to timeframes, productivity, dependencies and critical path.
- Ability to remain calm, patient and productive in a high-pressure environment. Must be able to work with minimum supervision.
