Responsibilities and Roles:
Logistics:
- Experience in managing 3PL service provider inclusive of marine insurance coverage
- Coordinate with local freight forwarder and 3PL for all outgoing shipments from factories
- Monitor and follow up with suppliers/ customers to ensure on time and accurate shipping documents submission
- Requesting sailing schedule from forwarders for export shipments.
- Contact carrier representative on plan and to issue shipping instructions and delivery of materials.
- Co-ordinate and timely processing outgoing shipment documentation
- Managing full set of shipping document handling (LC documentation and DP) and export/import regulations and custom knowledge is a plus
- Other ad-hoc assignments as assigned by reporting supervisors
Administration roles:
- Perform office administration including handling office purchases
- To verify all suppliers/contractors’ invoices and process for internal submission
- Preparing the expenses reimbursement
Requirements:
- Minimum ‘O’ Level or Diploma in Logistics or equivalent with at least 2 - 3 years of experience in the shipping industry or in forwarding and supply chain business
- Have ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Fluent in both spoken and written English
- Proficient in Ms Office
- Strong in Logistics Operations
- Able to work as a team player
- Able to work independently
