North America Country Head

Job Overview:

The North America Market Country Head will lead the expansion of FathomX’s operations across North America. This role is responsible for developing and executing the North American market strategy, securing and managing grant applications, establishing local partnerships, and ensuring operational efficiency. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for building and managing a sales team across North America. This role can be managed remotely from Singapore or the candidate may choose to relocate.


Key Responsibilities:

• Market Strategy & Execution:

o Develop and implement a comprehensive market entry and growth strategy for FathomX in North America.

o Identify key market opportunities and drive business development efforts in line with the company’s overall objectives.

o Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to adapt strategies accordingly.


• Grant Management:

o Lead the identification, application, and management of North American-based grants and funding opportunities relevant to healthcare innovation and AI technologies as well as grants administered from agencies like Enterprise Singapore.

o Work closely with internal R&D and finance teams to ensure compliance and successful execution of grant-funded projects.

o Maintain relationships with North American grant bodies, government agencies, and private funders to ensure continued access to new funding opportunities.


• Partnership & Relationship Building:

o Build strong relationships with healthcare institutions, clinical partners, research organizations, and key opinion leaders (KOLs) across North America to establish FathomX’s reputation and presence.

o Collaborate with stakeholders, including hospitals and clinics, for trial implementations, pilots, and eventual commercialization.

o Act as a key liaison between North American partners and FathomX’s headquarters in Singapore to ensure seamless communication and project alignment.


• Operations Management:

o Oversee all operational aspects of FathomX’s North American business, including setting up and managing local operations, budgeting, and logistics.

o Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and support clinical trials.

o Implement processes to ensure business continuity and operational scalability in line with corporate goals.


• Sales Team Leadership:

o Hire, manage, and develop a high-performing sales team in North America to drive the commercial success of FathomX’s products.

o Set sales targets, monitor performance, and implement strategies to achieve business goals.

o Provide leadership and coaching to the sales team, ensuring alignment with FathomX’s overall mission and values.

o Manage the sales function either remotely from Singapore or by relocating to the US, depending on the candidate’s preference.

• Team Building & Leadership:

o Build and manage a North America-based team, providing strong leadership, guidance, and support to ensure successful market penetration.

o Foster a positive work environment that aligns with FathomX’s mission and values, promoting collaboration and innovation.


Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Healthcare, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in the healthcare or medical technology sector, preferably in operations, business development, or grants management.

• Proven experience in securing and managing North American grants, with a strong understanding of healthcare funding mechanisms and opportunities.

• Familiarity with North American healthcare regulations and experience handling compliance for medical devices or AI technologies.

• Demonstrated experience in hiring and managing sales teams, setting sales targets, and driving revenue growth.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.

• Strategic thinker with the ability to balance big-picture goals with operational execution.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in AI healthcare solutions, clinical partnerships, and commercializing medical technology products in North America.

• Knowledge of breast cancer screening or diagnostic imaging technologies.

• Experience leading a cross-functional team, with a demonstrated track record of market expansion.
