Senior Executive - Quantity Surveyor (1 Year Contract)

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for Contract Management for new infrastructure's Enhancements and Improvement Projects in Singapore SportsHub's venues.
  • Manage and formalised inhouse process known as Variation Enquires (VE) and Supplementary Agreements (SA) - as defined in the FM Novation Agreement (from Project Agreement) with incumbent FM Contractors.
  • Work with Project IC to prepare and issue new VE to incumbent FM Contractor - to advise on Cost, Project Schedule, site implications etc.
  • Work with Project IC, Legal, Finance and FM Contractor to review on all Contractual, Commercial and Financial matters for new VE prior finalised for endorsement and formalisation to a SA.
  • Manage SportSG's incoming Work Request (WR) process between SportSG/SSI/NSAs etc and KASM's BU/Stakeholder.
  • Maintain and update Project VE Registry in Dept's Sharepoint (including status & cost).
  • Maintain proper e-filing and tracking of documentation in Dept's Sharepoint (as needed).
  • Assist in monitoring the deliverables, performance, milestone and work completion of formalised VE work (as needed).
  • Attend to incoming/ outgoing correspondences with Stakeholders related to VE, WR and Contracts/Agreement.
  • Attend Project Meetings (as needed).
  • Attend and update Dept Weekly Report.
  • Provide admin support to Pitch Management (as needed)
  • Ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Construction Management or related field, i.e., QS/Construction/Building/Facilities Management
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Contracts Administrator in a Construction/Facilities related industry.
  • Familiar with government procurement for Infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in infrastructure development for sports or entertainment venues will be an advantage.
  • Good working knowledge of construction contract management, project management methodologies and tools.
  • Confident and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Solid organisational abilities with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
