Allkin Psychological Service comprises of a team of Psychologists who provide assessment and intervention for children, youths and adults facing behavioural, socio-emotional and mental health difficulties. We have a vacancy for a Clinical/Counselling Psychologist who is passionate about making a difference to the lives of children/youths/adults and their families to join us.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments for children, youths, adults presenting with behavioural, socio-emotional and mental health difficulties.
- Provide individual psychological therapy for children, youths and adults. This includes working with parents/caregivers where appropriate, to equip them with parenting/behaviour management skills to support the person under their care at home.
- Engage in multidisciplinary case consultations/discussion with other systems to develop case management plans to promote client and family functioning.
- Conduct research and programme evaluation.
- Conduct training for other professionals in psychology/mental health related topics.
Candidate Profile:
- At least a Master Degree in Clinical or Counselling Psychology.
- Registered with or eligible for registration with the Singapore Psychological Society.
- Entry level position, 1-2 years of relevant working experience preferred.
- Must be willing to work with children, youths and adults as the role requires seeing clients of different ages.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently in a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficient and fluent in English plus a second language.
