Roles and Responsibilities:
- To conduct daily health, safety, and environmental inspections, prepare reports and follow up with the main contractor for closure.
- To inspect and verify if the main contractor had implemented appropriate safety measures
- To inspect and verify that the works on site are executed with approved permits
- To verify contractor's daily work declaration, carry out targeted inspections, onsite intervention of unsafe activities and respond to site incident(s) in ensuring contractor carry out emergency response as required.
- To provide standing supervision for critical construction works where required
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience as a RTO, of which at least 5 years shall be in supervision of works similar in complexity, in particular construction works in building construction, architectural and fitting out works.
- Possess a Diploma in the Architecture or Building Services discipline from a Polytechnic or equivalent.
- Possess a certificate in Building Construction Supervisors Safety Course
- Competent in keeping and maintaining proper and updated site records on progress of works.
- Pro-active in resolving and managing site issue with good team spirit.
