Roles and Responsibilities:
- To plan, manage, oversee and be responsible for all aspects of the health, safety and environmental matters for the Project.
- To advise and report to the Superintending Officer and ensure the Project complies with its statutory obligations
- To manage the team of Dy PSMs and ASMs to ensure all duties and responsibilities required of them are discharged professionally and competently.
- To ensure the stipulated number of Personnel are on site throughout the duration of the Contract
- To implement a proper office administration work procedure to ensure compliance with the Specifications of the Contract
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of WSH experience in deep excavation works of similar complexity, preferably 5 years with developer/main contractor.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in managing a team of site safety personnel.
- Possess a Degree in Engineering, Workplace Safety & Health
- Disciplines, or related qualifications.
- Registered with MOM as a Workplace Safety and Health Officer and have been practicing as WSHO for at least 5 years.
- Has obtained certificate in development of a Risk Management Implementation Plan (bizSAFE Level 2) or equivalent.
- Has obtained certificate in DfS appreciation course.
- Good communication skills and a competent team leader
