Responsibilities
- Prepare solution roadmaps that align with business objectives and technology strategies.
- Identify enabling solutions that can enhance our product offerings.
- Develop competitive functional discriminators through the direction of development of solutions.
- Contribute to the selection of appropriate technologies and tools that align with project requirements and long-term goals.
- Collaborate with sales partners to understand customer needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Oversee the engineering and quality assurance teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.
- Lead the design and development of software applications and databases to ensure that coding standards, security protocols, and best practices are followed.
- Design and implement robust system infrastructures that support scalable and reliable web applications.
- Oversee the deployment of web applications to production environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven experience in preparing solution roadmaps and identifying enabling solutions.
- Strong understanding of software and database design principles.
- Experience with system infrastructure design and web application deployment.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Strong technical acumen and the ability to make informed technology choices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with sales partners and stakeholders.
- Japanese (Business level) as you will be required to communicate frequently with our Japanese counterparts.
