Job Summary:
As an Operation cum Production Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our production factory. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of manufacturing, quality control, safety, production and logistics. Your strategic vision and hands-on approach will be critical in maintaining and improving our operational excellence.
Job Responsibilities for Operation:
1. Production Management
· Manage and optimize production processes, ensuring quality and quantity targets are consistently met.
· Implement best practices for manufacturing and process improvement.
2. Quality Control:
· Develop and maintain rigorous quality control procedures to ensure the highest product standards.
· Monitor product quality and take corrective actions as needed.
3. Safety and Compliance:
· Ensure a safe and compliant working environment by implementing and enforcing safety procedures and regulations.
· Maintain compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including environmental regulations.
4. Inventory and Supply Chain:
· Oversee inventory management to ensure raw materials and finished products are efficiently stored and transported.
· Collaborate with the supply chain team to maintain a smooth and cost-effective supply chain.
5. Team Leadership:
· Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team.
· Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
6. Cost Control:
· Monitor operational costs and develop strategies to control and reduce expenses while maintaining quality standards.
7. Equipment Maintenance:
· Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs for factory equipment to minimize downtime and disruptions.
8. Reporting and Analysis:
· Generate regular operational reports for senior management, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
9. Sustainability and Efficiency:
· Seek opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability practices, including resource optimization.
Job Responsibilities for Production:
- Responsible for production process in accordance to production schedule and plan towards meeting the set targets and quality.
- Identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems that occur during production, including staff shortages, machine malfunctions or inefficient work practices.
- Ensure that all SOPs are practiced at the worksite to enforce a safer and more efficient working environment.
- Lead the Production floor to ensure all process is smooth at all times without encountering any errors.
Qualifications and Skills:
- At least Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), or Operations Management, or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of working experience in the related field.
- Proven experience in a senior operational management role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety procedures.
- Leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve operational challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and sustainability practices in the manufacturing sector.
