Contract Period: From 01 January 2025 to 31 December 2025.
Option Year: From 01 January 2026 to 31 December 2026
Working hours:
*Mondays to Thursdays: 7.00am to 4.30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
*Fridays: 7.00am to 4.00pm , inclusive of 1hr lunch break
*Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
Scope of Services:
Counter Duties
*Customer Service Counter Duty (mindset must meet the realist challenges and demands of a Primary School setting)
*To answer phone calls, manage visitors, takes messages, responds to enquiries and provide general useful information (in a very dynamic environment where calls are voluminous).
*Able to use school implemented IT system for administrative purposes.
*To handle daily varied requests and queries from parents / students / vendors / staff etc
*To call students to convey messages during ad-hoc / special events.
*To render first level assistance to walk-in students’ needs including sick & injured students. To escalate case to other colleagues in the office immediately if it is beyond superficial cases.
*To handle / support situation when students’ vomit and soiled their clothes.
General Duties
*To maintain the forms cabinet in the office. All forms must be current and to be replenished constantly.
*To assist in general typing duties.
*To assist in stores supplies management / inventories during school holidays.
*To assist in all school events including catering / set up of rooms.
*To support any other general admin duties as and when required.
Qualification, Skill & Experience:
*Effective team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
*Ability to work well under tight schedules
*Independent, resourceful, has initiative and sense of commitment
*Excellent organisation skills
*Candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant experience working in a primary school environment
*Basic computer literacy skills such as MS Office - Microsoft word and excel
*Possess preferably one of the following qualifications:-
- Higher Nitec or Nitec
- GCE ‘O’ or ‘N’ Level certificate or the equivalent
