Marketing Engineer (Japanese MNC)
Job Description:
- Manage assigned Electronic Component brands to generate business for ASEAN, India and China;
- Understand the product line of the company especially the assigned brands;
- Set and achieve marketing target and objectives;
- Continuously identify, develop and explore new business opportunities with all customers;
- Follow up closely on sales enquiries, manage/provide quotations and do demand creation;
- Support in the creation and editing of company literature, presentation, promotional materials, sample kits, and other forms of marketing (both print and electronic) from concept to final product;
- Assist in planning, development and implementation of corporate/marketing events;
- Build rapport with Principals/Suppliers, internal sales people and customers;
- Collaborate with other sales members in the marketing of products lines assigned. Develop a solid interaction throughout the organization at all levels;
- Submit weekly report internally and regular reports to suppliers of key brands and other brands.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Sales/Marketing (Technical background in electronics is a plus);
- At least 2 years related experience, in sales/marketing roles in Electronics Component Industries;
- Computer literate. Strong in Microsoft Office software;
- Clear and intelligible oral and written communication abilities;
- Effective organizational skills. Strong interpersonal, supervisory and customer service skills required;
- Performs all responsibilities and tasks at a fully satisfactory level;
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required;
- Willing to travel domestically and regional when assigned;
- Must be independent and able to work under minimum supervision.
