This position reports to the Director.The Electrical Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing electrical construction projects from inception to completion. Job Description
Individual to be involved in:
1. Develop and manage project timelines and resources to ensure timely completion of electrical construction activities.
2. Prepare and control project budgets, ensuring costs remain within financial limits.
3. Lead and oversee the work of engineers, technicians, and contractors to ensure effective team collaboration.
4. Ensure all electrical work meets regulatory codes and safety standards through regular inspections.
5. Serve as the main contact for clients and stakeholders, providing updates and addressing any concerns.
6. Monitor and verify the quality of electrical installations, ensuring adherence to specifications and standards.
Job Requirements
1. In-depth understanding of electrical systems, installations, and construction practices, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
2. Proficiency in project management methodologies, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
3. Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations, ensuring all work complies with safety and legal requirements.
4. Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve technical and logistical issues that arise during electrical projects.
5. Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate a team of engineers, technicians, and contractors.
6. Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, stakeholders, and team members, ensuring clear understanding and collaboration.
