Job Role Description:
- Managing full set of accounts including data compilation, AR, AP, payroll preparation, journals entries and other accounting tasks e.g. reconciliations
- Prepare management accounts i.e. P/L and B/S with supporting schedules and necessary documentation for monthly or yearly finalisation of accounts.
- Experience in handling XBRL and drafting of Unaudited Financial Statements.
- Experience and hands-on with GST compliance submissions, including GST-Reverse Charge regime.
- Experience in corporate tax computation and liaise with IRAS. if necessary.
- Exposure/experience in stamp duties, withholding taxes etc. would be plus.
- Liaison with external auditors, IRAS, ACRA and other government agencies and external parties
- Liaise and work closely with Payroll and Corporate Secretarial Departments to achieve total services to Clients.
- Other ad-hoc assignments as required and / or assigned.
- Assist and support Accounting Head to engage and service Clients (meetings and conference calls).
Requirements:
- LCCI/CAT/ITE or Diploma holder in accounting or equivalent.
- Possess a minimum of 3 to 4 years of accounting experience. Work experience in an accounting firm would be an added advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office applications and accounting software e.g. Xero, QB etc.
- Immediate available is preferred.
- Passionate about accounting profession. Client-centric and service-oriented.
- Proactive, willing to learn and take-on new challenges.
- Conscientious, well-organized, analytical and adopt positive working attitude. Can work independently with minimum supervision.
- Able to understand and execute instructions accurately. Work under pressure with tight deadlines occasionally, during peak season.
- Good interpersonal skills and can communicate well with team members.
