Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the entire tender/RFQ process, from analyzing tender documents to solution design and contract negotiation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to assess feasibility and prepare quotations for tender submissions.
- Oversee onboarding for new accounts after successful bids, ensuring smooth project handovers.
- Manage project implementations, aligning with internal stakeholders, setting timelines, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements.
- Maintain and expand relationships with key accounts, focusing on long-term retention and growth.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations, addressing client concerns and ensuring timely resolution.
- Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) and conduct regular reviews to identify improvement opportunities.
- Negotiate rates and contracts with key accounts to maintain competitive pricing and profitability.
- Engage customers on existing and new projects, driving collaboration and securing additional business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Sales, or a related field.
- Proven experience in key account management within the logistics, transport, or supply chain industry.
- Expertise in managing tenders and RFQs, with strong contract negotiation skills.
- Strong project management capabilities, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to analyze complex tender documents and design effective solutions.
- Strong focus on customer satisfaction and long-term client retention.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
