JOB SCOPE

Bellhop will be responsible to greet the guests upon their arrival at the Hotel, offering assistance to carry the luggage's and directing them to the reception counter for check-in.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Open vehicle doors for incoming and outgoing guests/patrons.
  • Count number of pieces of luggage received and confirm with the guests to ensure that no luggage is missing.
  • See that the Front driveway is clear at all times.
  • Accompany the guests to the assigned rooms and explain all facilities in the room.
  • Inform and sell all other hotel facilities to guests.
  • Upon check-out, carry the luggages down to the Lobby and direct the guests to the Front Office Cashiers.
  • Deliver messages, parcels, faxes etc to the guest rooms.
  • Help to keep the Lobby area clean at all times.
  • Run errands, and carry luggages for room change.
  • Lead and show guests to the location where they requested to go to.
  • Keep all luggages for safe keeping in an orderly manner and enter in the luggage storage control sheet for the luggage room. To report to Superior any damage of the luggage.
  • Use security netting to secure large number of luggages for storage upon request.
  • Hand any lost articles left in the Lobby to the Superior.
  • Be careful not to damage the lift walls or corridor walls when using the trolley.
  • Maintain the conditions of the equipment, e.g. polishing
  • Perform other duties as and when assigned by the Management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Possess at least a GCE ā€˜Nā€™ Level/Lower Secondary or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience in related field
  • Able to communicate in English to handle guests and in work.
  • Able to lift heavy and large items, e.g. handle luggages for guests.
  • Positive working attitude and customer-centric
  • Able to work independently and as well as in a team
  • Able to work on three (3) rotating shifts jobs.
  • Able to work 6 days work week including Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays.
  • Able to commence employment within short notice period.
