Assist to lead & oversee the Finance & Accounting in Sout East Asia & Oceania (SEO) Region :-
- Financial management, accounting, budgeting, book-keeping and funds management.
- Month-end closing and Year-end closing with complete Financial Statement, Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Statement.
- Timely and accurate reporting of Prompt Report and Monthly Report on a monthly basis.
- Timely and accurate reporting of Consolidation Package Report per every quarter-end.
- Timely and accurate reporting of accounts receivables as well as monitoring of accounts receivables collections.
- Liaises with all countries in SEO Region as to deadlines on monthly accounts closing, matching of revenue and costs.
- Maintains proper record of necessary accounts documents.
- Monthly performance analysis, budgeting, and month-end closing.
- Maintains Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, General Ledger and propose changes to UAS whenever necessary. Controls and book-keeping of receipts and payments. Maintains Chart of Accounts.
- Maintains control of Fixed Assets and Investments in SEO Region.
- Liaises with External Auditors and Tax Agents whenever necessary.
- Liaises with banks on foreign exchange, credit facilities, bank guarantees, remittances, funding and fund management.
- Organizes and consolidates half-yearly budgets for Income, Investment and Cash plan, from all SEO countries with provision of respective company’s targeted profits.
- Timely and accurate reporting of Budget on half-yearly basis and twice forecasts before 1st half-yearly closing and year-end closing.
- Consolidation of financial & accounting reports in Japanese Language for reporting Japan HQ.
- Legal matters, risk assessment and internal control
Job Requirements
- 12 - 15 years experience in accounting with at least 5 years experience in financial management
- Minimum degree in Accountancy.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Budgeting skills.
- Computer literate.
