Job Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry into the computerized accounting system, payment processing
- Assist accountant in cash flow management, including monitoring the payment statements.
- Work within pre-determined deadlines to deliver month-end and year-end account closings.
- Administer and monitor the financial system to ensure that all arranged finances are well maintained and in a timely manner.
- Assist accountant in liaising with the external auditor and tax consultant on financial matters, relevant filing, quarterly tax computation, and GST to meet legislative requirements.
- Ensure all records for outgoing and incoming funds are up-to-date.
- Compliance with financial policies and procedures in accordance with accounting standards.
- Ensure all documents are well-controlled and documented as per company policy for easy retrieval.
- Ensure all transactions are executed smoothly and accurately.
- Assist accountant in Ad-hoc matters.
Requirements:
- Minimum diploma in finance, accounting, or relevant discipline.
- Minimum 2 of relevant experience handling a full set of accounts.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous with details and able to multitask to meet deadlines.
- Independent and with a high level of initiative.
- Able to work under tight timelines.
