We are looking for a Smart Contract Developer with proficiency in Java, JavaScript or Python with at least 1 year of experience in Smart Contract Programming using DAML.
Key Responsibilities:
- Smart Contract Development: Design, develop, and deploy smart contracts using DAML on both private and public blockchains. Ensure solutions are robust, secure, and scalable.
- Blockchain Solutions: Develop and upgrade decentralized applications on the Canton blockchain platform. Focus on creating commercial solutions with solid performance, resiliency, and privacy.
- Tokenization: Implement and manage the tokenization of financial assets including debt securities, equities, loans, and funds. Oversee the entire lifecycle from issuance to settlement, including distribution, trading, custody, and account management.
- AWS Cloud: Utilize AWS Cloud for development and deployment of blockchain solutions. Ensure efficient, scalable, and secure cloud architecture.
- Test-Driven Development: Apply test-driven development practices and leverage associated testing tools to ensure high-quality, reliable code.
- Communication & Collaboration: Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide regular updates on project progress. Demonstrate strong follow-through and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of software development experience with proficiency in general-purpose programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Smart Contracts: At least 1 year of strong proficiency in smart contract programming using DAML, with a proven track record of developing commercial solutions.
- Blockchain Platforms: Hands-on experience with the Canton blockchain and other decentralized applications.
- Tokenization Knowledge: Experience with the implementation and management of tokenized financial assets across their entire lifecycle.
- Cloud Expertise: Proficiency in AWS Cloud development and deployment practices.
- Testing Skills: Experience with test-driven development and associated testing tools.
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical skills, self-motivated, with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to follow through on project tasks.
This will be on an initial 1 year contract role.
