You will work with a team of software engineers developing a new design and test product, including electronic simulation and test, using a model-based engineering approach. This digital twin will help Keysight customers reduce time-to-market for their critical aerospace/defense and communications systems. You will work closely with Product Planners/Owners and Marketing, Sales, and customers using our product life cycle to bring products to market with agile software development. You need to be an expert in OOP software development, be an expert in in software development, and be a hands-on contributor.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop software for simulation and test to create products to enable digital twins for customer workflows
- Work with the product owner and development team to deliver quality products on time following the Agile software development process.
- Take on complex software development tasks
- Satisfy customers in a new and growing market
The essential requirements of the job include:
- BS, or MS in CS, EE, or equivalent
- 2 years of experience in a technical software development role including software architecture and solving complex problems
- Knowledge of electronic circuit or system simulation products and techniques
- Familiar with databases and data management systems
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Python
- Understanding of enterprise software systems
- Good understanding of networks and distributed software systems
- Understanding of delivering quality and robust software
- Ability to prototype a software solution and create production quality software
- Excellent oral and verbal communication skills
It would be a plus if you also possess:
- Experience with Keysight Test Automation Platform (TAP)
- Use or development of electronic design automation (EDA) tools and EDA flows such as Keysight ADS, Cadence Virtuoso/Allegro, Mentor Expedition/PADS, National Instruments LabView, etc.
- Knowledge of test equipment and test and measurement
- Leadership experience in software architecture and solving complex problems
- Experience with C++, C#, and OOP; Windows and Linux operating systems
- Prior experience of working in an Agile/Scrum environment
