As the Programming and Touring Executive, you will work closely with the Artistic Director and General Manager, contributing to the company’s dynamic and creative team. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your professional portfolio with an exciting lineup of productions throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research and audience analysis to identify trends, emerging artists, and innovative programming opportunities.
- Collaborate with local and international artists, directors, and external organisations to commission new works, co-productions, and special projects.
- Prepare programming and international touring proposals for approval by senior management and the artistic team.
- Lead and coordinate international tours, including communication with producers, venues, scheduling, and logistical planning.
- Manage relationships with presenting partners, venues, and promoters to secure bookings and maximise exposure for the organisation’s productions.
- Work closely with the production and technical teams to ensure all technical, staging, and transport requirements are met for each tour.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all programming and touring-related inquiries and communications.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including artists, venues, sponsors, and community organisations.
Requirements
- Only Singaporeans and PRs are eligible to apply.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in theatre, arts, or event industries.
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin is an advantage.
- A degree in Arts Marketing, Arts Management, Theatre, Event Management, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge or interest in technical theatre is an advantage.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
